Unfortunately, I did notice quite a few continuity errors in this film. I've never played Left 4 Dead, but from what I've seen, I agree with it. Oh, and he looks like one of the characters from Left 4 Dead, apparantly.

it's just funny how many voices I can hear coming from Captain Matthius. I also like the way that they flesh out the relationship between Dr Kyne and Captain Matthius, as it shows just how troublesome the last few hours before the outbreak took place was.Īlso, when I hear Captain Matthius, seen as he was voiced by Jim Cummings, he is a great voice actor, but I can't stop hearing bits of Psy-Crow and Bob the Goldfish from Earthworm Jim, Pete from the Disney cartoons and hundreds of other characters that Jim Cummings has voiced. And I think that the way they show it is pretty entertaining. I also like the way how they hint that the Aegis 7 Marker was placed there by human hands. Set during the Ishimura outbreak that took place before the first Dead Space game, this film brings up what CAUSED the outbreak, as in - how the ship was infected. But you may like it if you're unfamiliar with the series. So, this, in my opinion, is strictly for Dead Space fans. but on their own, the parts seem too seperated to make sense.

Then again, some things weren't very clear in the first Dead Space game, but were made clearer in Dead Space 2 and other works. I mean, a lot of things, like the ideas of Markers, Necromorphs, and the USG Ishimura, are at best glanced over in this film. The film is only REALLY for people who know the Dead Space franchise, as I think that anyone who is unfamiliar with the series will probably get lost. So, in the spirit of October, I have an opportunity to share my thoughts with you.įirst of all, I will say this.
